How installation works
- Free estimate. We measure the opening, look at the framing and talk through styles.
- Choose your door. Steel, insulated, carriage-house, with or without windows.
- Installation. We remove the old door and install the new door, tracks and springs matched to its weight.
- Final setup. We adjust the opener, test the safety features and show you how everything works.

Insulated or non-insulated?
Newark's weather is mild, so plenty of detached garages do fine with a non-insulated steel door. If the garage is attached, has a room above it, or you use it as a gym or workshop, an insulated door makes it quieter and keeps the temperature steadier. It's also stiffer, so it holds up better to bumps.

Installation questions
How long does it take to install a new garage door?
We'll give you a timeline with your estimate. It mostly depends on the door you choose and whether it's in stock.
Do I need a new opener with a new door?
Not always. If your opener is in good shape and suits the new door's weight, we can keep it and adjust it. If it's old or has no battery backup, a new door is a good time to replace it.
Can I see the doors before I decide?
